What's next?

Okay, I'm not ashamed to admit that I need help.

I could use some more material for the blog right now. (I'm kind of caught up in work lately... it's killin' me. But the fam has to eat this month, you know?) So here's where I call on the silent Mamas out there reading this.

Is there anything you want to know about? Anything you want me to share about my own experiences that might help you right now? Maybe there's something you remember about your baby when he/she was wee... something you look back on and think "Man I wish I had known that" and want to share it with all the other Moms.

You get to pick the next topic. It could be about sharing our birth stories. It could be about our best tips on finding balance in our busy Mommy lives. It could be an extended version of the post-baby coochie care post. It could even just be a venting session about how bad the Wiggles are. (They're horrible. Horrid.)

So, what do you want to read about ladies? It's in your hands. If you ask for it, I will deliver.

Of course, I'll probably find some way to put a cute Anna twist on it.

  1. How about post baby birth control? I'm curious to know what other women are doing. I've tried to avoid going back on the pill, but my hormones are crazy now that I'm moving up in my 30's.

  2. I know you're not there yet Hez, but can you ask your Moms about second pregnancies? How is it different from the first - showing sooner? Morning sickness that is actually worse the second time around?

  3. Good topics, ladies! Thanks! Unfortunately I can't really speak from experience on the second one... maybe I can get a guest poster for that one!

  4. I would be interested to know more about what people are feeding their little ones. Olivia is 10.5 months now and I struggle to come up with new food ideas for her. She can eat some of what we eat, but not quite everything yet.

  5. -Insomnia (do you experience it and does anything help?)
-Easter - are you going to do anything for Anna? When will you allow her to have her first taste of chocolate (or have you already)?
-What is the most annoying toy that Anna likes? The toy that she loves the most and entertains her the longest?
-How much do you read to Anna? What are your favourite books to read to her at this age? Does she enjoy being read to?
-Doctors (we weren't able to get a pediatrician and had to be seen by a family doctor who we didn't care for and made mistakes). What has your experience been with doctors for Anna (and yourself)?
    -TV
    -Post partum depression
-Vaccinations esp the measles one (did you delay? give them all? not give any?)

  6. Yeah, birth control. Struggling with that one right now. Back on the stupid pill, but the more I read, the more I think it's poison. Want to know what others have used and the benefits/drawbacks.
